Been a while...
I think that this might be the longest that I've gone without writing. But seriously? I have barely had time to breathe, let alone write. I've been thinking about it, though... but whenever I feel like writing, it's not convenient. Perhaps I'll need to start carrying a notebook? Who knows.

Anyway, since last time I wrote... Hmm... my life has totally turned upsidedown -- for the good.

1. Matt's back on the road with Avril, which has it's plusses and minuses. More minuses, really, but what can you do?
2. We're officially HOMEOWNERS! It's quite exciting, and we're having a really great time getting things together. (Er, should I say that I am having a really good time... 'cause Matt's not here).
3. We said goodbye to our Brooklyn apartment. But really... but the time we left, it was like, "PEACE OUT!" We were SO ready to get out of there, it was beyond us.

So the new place... It's super cute. It's in Westchester, which is the county just north of Manhattan. It takes me about 50 minutes to get to work, door to door, which isn't much longer than I used to spend getting to work. The stress level of the commute, though, is so much lower. (I mean, it costs more, but with that increased price comes increased comfort). I drive about a mile to the train, park, ride the train, then walk in the passageway from Grand Central Station to my office. Not too bad.

My realtor came over this morning to say hi. I was so excited for SOMEONE to see the fruits of my labor, that I gave her the grand tour. (All in, it took about 10 seconds... our house is not that big... ha). But really, it felt nice to show her around. Especially since she's seen it when it was not ours... and now she is seeing it when it is ours. She likes what we've done with the place, and promised to come over again. So that was nice. I think that my dad is coming over tomorrow, too, which will be fun. :)

I just got super pooped. I think that I am going to go to bed. WILD AND CRAZY SATURDAY NIGHT! lol... In bed by 11:30! Eh, who am I kidding, I need to get my sleep so I can keep up with my interns all next week! Heh.
