Dreamgirls
I've been waiting a long time to see this movie, and I had nothing to do this afternoon, so I decided to catch the 3:10 show. Since it's been out for a while, it was in the tiny theater at the Pavillion. Oh well, no big whoop... I got an OK seat, flanked by two friends and a mother and daughter. I could tell from the second I sat down that the mother and daughter were going to be annoying. They got up, no kidding, five times during the movie... AND... they talked at NORMAL VOLUME throughout the movie... AND... the mother kept YAWNING LOUDLY throughout the ENTIRE FLICK. I wanted to be like, "I'm sorry, is the film keeping you awake??!" I mean, seriously??!?!

Thankfully, it didn't (totally) ruin the movie for me. I liked it! Jennifer Hudson, who I didn't particularly like when she was on American Idol, was amazing. I mean, WOW! And Beyonce was totally believable as well. I dug it. The music was super! After a few of the songs, people in the audience actually clapped! :) Too cool!

I've been doing my best to see more movies lately. I like going into Oscar season having seen all of the nominated films. It makes watching the awards show more fun. So... we shall see...
