I must have ESPN!!
Last night was the Analyst Booze Cruise. It also happened to be the last day of 3 of our interns. As such, Ali and I took the liberty of taking all of them on the cruise. It was SO MUCH FUN! We ate BBQ, drank beer, danced... Good times were had by all.

So it's in the middle of the dancing portion of the cruise, and I am standing along the rail of the boat. At this point, I am praying that one of the Latin American kids doesn't come up and try to dance with me, 'cause I am a horrible latin dancer. Anyway... I'm standing there with Stephen, one of my now-former interns, and we're laughing at the spectacle that has become the dance floor. An Analyst from Chicago that I met that night comes up and takes my sun glasses off of my head. These, mind you, are no $5 jobbies from the street. These are nice, Ray Bans with polarized lenzes, that Matt urged me not to lose and to make sure I keep in the case, when I bought them. Yeah... so Tim takes the glasses off of my head, and as he does so, I turn to Stephen and say, "I'm never going to see those glasses again."

I was only slightly wrong.

As Tim turned to give the glasses back to me, someone knocked his arm, and we both watched my glasses FLY (not drop, but FLY!) into the Hudson River. Tim was horrified. It was a total accident, and he felt so badly. I mean, I'm kinda pissed, but what can I do, right? It's not like he threw them. He looked like he was about to cry, really. He didn't stop saying sorry the rest of the night, and it got borderline annoying. heh. So I looked at him and said, "Tim, I am not mad. I promise. You'll buy me a new pair of glasses, and all will be well with the world."

I think that he was more embarrassed than anything... OOPS

Stephen and I, though, could not stop laughing!! I mean, you couldn't have scripted it better. So for the rest of the night, he was calling me clairvoyant (sp?). We did our best to turn of the hysterics, because Tim felt to freakin' bad about things. Heh heh heh...

The bummer part is that I just went to SunglassHut.com to re-buy my glasses... and they are out of stock. D'oh. Wait... did I say that they were Ray Ban? I meant that they were PRADA... no GUCCI... no D&G!!
