BE STRONG... and other random thoughts
Today, I had lunch with my roomie from the year I was at UT, Annie. I didn't remember what a good time we had living together. She was definitely crazy. She was the other mother of my fish, Jackie Chan. She was the one who created the mantra, "Be strong for your suppressed sista's in Saudi Arabia!" (Don't ask). She was the one whose car we would pile into to drive less than a football field to go through the Wendy's drive through to get frosty's and fries.

I have not seen her in over five years. It was really, really fun.
We hit lil'Frankies (I know!) and had a nice, leisurely lunch. Who knew that they had brunch?
I semi-considered it (who can say no to free bloody mary's?), though came to my senses and ordered pizza, followed by nutella (yum).

This week went by so fast. I can't believe that I've only got one more day of work before vacation! WOOT! I am getting more excited about Christmas. I have a few more gifts to buy/make, but I'm mostly done. The major change with this year's shopping trips... not as much shopping for myself. ;)

Work-drinks last night was fun. I got extremely tired after we left, so we made our way home and I crashed (like usual).

And today, I was supposed to be a busy girl... instead, after lunch, I came home and napped on the couch. Tee hee hee... I'm such a bum. I checked the blackberry once, and there was not one work-related e-mail that I needed to address. (Yes!!) And I didn't even bring home the computer this weekend. (Even better!)

What else?
Tonight is a going away party for Dan and Eddy... they are moving to California. Dan and Eddy both lived in my dorm freshman year. We all live in NY, though we really rarely see each other. (That's kinda sad, especially now that they are leaving). But the cool thing is that I'm confident that where ever we end up, we can always pick up right where we left off. They were present and the end of the first semester Freshmen year when I drank an entire bottle of absolute myself... and ended up dry heaving so hard that I broke all of the blood vessles in my face... and lied to the mentally challenged man who was mopping the dining hall floor in order to steal lemons from the fridge. How can you make lemonhead shots w/o Lemons?! (Truth be told, we also stole sugar). Ahh... good times... good times.

OH... the shopping trip with my dad was postponed. He didn't end up coming into town last weekend, so we are gonna go shopping on Tuesday instead. Good times. And on Monday, after work, Matt is picking Dante up, then me up, then my dad up, and we're headed to Mt Vernon for dinner.
