It's hard to slow down...
After working so fast and furiously for the last four months, it's hard to slow down. I sleep in, 'cause I'm still exhausted, but then I start to dream about what work I could be doing. And then I get up and get my computer ready... But I come to reality. Any work that I do right now can FOR SURE be done tomorrow. SO THERE!

I don't know, I guess I just got in this groove to where I felt like I needed to use every available amount of time to get work done. There weren't enough hours in the day to get it all done. But now there are. Now there is time to relax. There's still at lot to be done, but I have time to do it. It's gonna pick up again, but not for a while. This is good. Good... Good...

I only have five more days in the office until it's official vacation time. Yeah Hoo! I have not been home for over a full week in ages. I'm going to Austin for a visit (yesss!), gonna go shopping with my mom, and chill with the fam.

I'm kinda bummed about not being home for Christmas Eve this year. We'll be in Houston by 9 am on Christmas morning, but still. It's not the same. And when I told my dad about it, I started to cry. 'Cuase on Christmas Eve, my dad and I always go shopping for bonus gifts for people. And this would be the first year in... AGES... EVER... that we won't be doing it. So yesterday, I get an e-mail from my dad saying that you can't stop tradition. He's either going to extend one of his New York visits to a weekend so we can go shopping... OR we're going to do bonus gift shopping after Christmas (same amount of fun... half the price!). I don't know... just made me feel good. I love my papa.
