Time, good time... Ooh we had a time...
This weekend was awesome. Again, Jupiter aligned with Mars, and a good time was had by all.

Friday:
Shana got in around 1. After a quick lunch, I pointed her in the direction of a few hot-spots in midtown. I finished working at about 6 and we headed to Brooklyn. I quickly changed clothes and we headed back to the city for a night of fun fun fun! Lil'Frankies never disappoints! This time, we ordered too much food and didn't have any room for nutella. (I know... scandal!) Shana, Luciana, Brian, Johnny and I were stuffed! Afterwards, we weren't ready to say goodnight, so we met up with some of Brian's friends. I love Alphabet City... it's a neighborhood that I don't explore very often, but I need to! We said goodnight and agreed to meet at 12:30 the next day "at the bat."

Saturday:
After a quick breakfast at the diner, Shana and I made it just in time to meet Luciana. It was a beautiful day! I've decided that it's officially Spring! There's something to be said for a lovely day spent in the sun, watching baseball, drinking beer, and enjoying time with good friends. It was just so relaxed and awesome. I loved that Luciana and Shana got along so well. That's always a good feeling... when old friends and new friends enjoy each other's company as much as you do.

The Yankees won! We decided to keep the party going, and headed to Stan's with our new friends. (Of course, wherever we go, Luciana and I make friends!) And after Stan's... Down the Hatch. Needless to say, it was a long day. Shana and I got home at about 11:30 and passed out.

Sunday:
I'm not used to all of this fresh air and good weather! I'm pooped. Shana and I went to Two Boots for brunch, then to SoHo for some shopping, and THEN to Tasti-D-Lite for a snack. I took her to the airport and spent a half-hour looking for a parking spot. And now, I'm contemplating doing my GMAT homework, as I am pooped, but I'm not really doing much else.

All in all, it was a lovely weekend. The last two weekends have been such breaths of fresh air. I'm so thankful that I've been blessed with so many wonderful, amazing friends.
