Taking advantage...
Yesterday, while a little chilly, was gorgeous. It's officially spring. I know that I said that last week, but you never know with NYC. The sun was up... the sky was blue... so what's a girl to do?

The night of the blackout, I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge "where the cars go", 'cause it was too crowded on the pedestrian walkway. Thus, I had never really walked across like a tourist. At least, not until yesterday!

We took the train to the edge of the bridge on the Brooklyn side... walked across the bridge, then up through to Chinatown to SoHo. It was a great, long walk. We were in no hurry... just enjoyed the day. And we did our best to stay on the "sunny side" of the street, 'cause it was a little too chilly to stay on the shady side.
