My Mind is Blown...
Work today: Good. Why? 'Cause I interacted with the crazy exactly two times. Much better than yesterday. ;)
Post work:
--Met with Ashleigh for a drink before walking down to the Public Library with her where she was meeting Erin and Marg. So good to see them all.
--Walked down to 34th Street while chatting on the phone with a co-worker. Declined her dinner invite, and opted for a little retail therapy.
--AT Loft: Got a pair of work pants and a pair of jeans. The jeans, do not pass out, do not have to be shortened! I also managed to make use of a coupon that I didn't have, 'cause the salesperson liked me. ;)
--H&M: Got some cute springie things for the trip to California next week. (Yes, it's NEXT WEEK already)
--Gap: Finally used that gift card that Carol & Steve gave me for Christmas. Got a white button front shirt that I've been needing, as well as a pink sweater for work.

Ventured home and my cell started to ring as I walked in the door. JUST IN TIME for a chat! BUT... we got the video cameras working. OMG... those things are amazing. I don't know what we paid for them, but they are worth their weight in GOLD, I tell you. No, not gold... PLATINUM! Amazing! And yes, I cried. I didn't mean to... but I did. I couldn't help it. I was just so happy and overwhelmed to see that face on the screen, and to have a conversation... and to be able to SEE! I will go to sleep a happy woman tonight.

On another note...

It's Someone Special's birthday!
Happy Birthday Luke!

And not to make this totally about me, but whatever... my blog, but that photo makes me feel like I need to cut my hair to shoulder length again. Thoughts?
