It is amazing..
So I'm at home today, and I've got music on.

I downloaded the Bright Eyes CD last night, so I put that on. And it was great... but oh-so depressing. And I found myself getting really sad. And I didn't realize what was causing it at first... I just thought that it was normal stuff. You know? So then, I put in They Might Be Giants, "Flood" (it is a brand new record for 1990, after all), and my mood almost instantly lifted. Chair dancing commenced. Oh yes, there was chair dancing. :) And now, I'm listening to the new Jack Johnson CD that came out today. (I love love love iTunes, and receiving iTunes gift certificates from my brother for my birthday). I love Jack Johnson. He's so good. And so far, I'm digging his new CD. And again, my mood is getting better.

I am continually amazed by how much music can affect me. This is not a new thing, but I've been varying the music that I listen to lately, and I'm glad about that. I'm making the most of the "digital liberation project" (heh heh heh)... so bring it!
