Oh what a trip!
Made it home safely last night, and had to come back to work today. Overall, it wasn't that horrible of a day at work... which is always good. :)

The trip? Was amazing. Seriously... it was amazing... on so many levels.

It was so nice...
-to NOT be at work;
-to NOT have cell phone service or e-mail access... to be totally disconnected;
-to meet new people and have a great time rolling with the punches;
-to win some moolah in the casino, and actually come home with it; Wheel... of... FORTUNE!!!
-to feel the warm sun on my skin in the middle of the winter;
-to explore an island that I've never visited... to totally feel like a tourist, and not feel weird about it;
-to spend money enjoying the trip, and not worry about the consequences... 'cause it was vacation... and it would be worried about later;
-to take cheesy photos and not care about how silly I was being;
-to dance and sing to native Bahamian music... where every song sounded EXACTLY the same. My two favorite lyrics: Sad movies... always make me cry! and Form a circle... Form a line... Form a circle... Form a line...
-to drink fruity strawberry drinks made from real, fresh, island-grown strawberries;
-to eat, drink, an be merry... 'cause tomorrow, I'd return to work;
-to be tan... tan... TAN;
-to wear new trinkets, memories of a great trip;
-to laugh... so hard... so hard that my stomach hurt... that my face hurt... and to love it;
-to be livin' in the moment.

The vacation was a real eye-opener for me. It is kinda weird, and hard to explain, but it was. Travelling is always really stressful for me... and I was a bit stressed before leaving on Thursday. All in all, though, the entire trip -from start to finish- was stress-free.

I am refreshed...
I am recharged...
I'm in a great mood...
I am happy.
