"You blow my head open. Of one thing I'm sure...
I do my best for you I do"

My dad is a smart man...
...and an excellent career coach. I find myself using his "pearls of wisdom" when I'm coaching the unplaced juniors that I'm having to find placements for. It's so hard... I've been in their shoes, and I know that it is uncertain and it is unfair and it is scary... I know this... And I feel like my words mean nothing to them right now... that they're looking at me and they're thinking, "What do you know, you've got a job..." But I really want to help them.

I am taking this to heart, and I shouldn't. It's so hard. I'm taking it way too personally, 'cause I was where they are now, and it's a scary place... a scary scary place.
