Monday... bah!
Ok... so today at work was up and down.
I stayed really late, but I got to have coffee with a woman who used to work with Chase, but doesn't anymore as a result of the merger. She's an amazing woman, and I learn a lot from her. I'm sure that I've mentioned her before... Diane. It was great to catch up, both professionally and personally. So we did that for an hour and a half, and then I had to come back to work all hopped up on caffeine.

The salary budget... is done. As is the summary for management. I'm sure that it will change once I show it to my co-worker. But that's ok. At least the framework is there.
The unplaced analysts... are placed, at least temporarily. One got a perm. placement. The other two start temporary assignments this week. WOO!
The total compensation review... is initially done. I pulled in all of the necessary info and did some preliminary analysis. I'll go over it with my co-worker tomorrow, I'm sure...
The MD Stuff... is not nearly as done as it needs to be. But at least now I can spend a little more time on it. You know?

So yeah! I got a lot of shit done today! Hell's yeah coolio. AND... I get paid on Wednesday

Randomness: Cathy told me that her initial plan for her wedding is to marry in Italy and honeymoon in Greece. AMAZING! They are going to keep it small... just immediate family. And you know what, I am ok with that. I mean, she is one of my oldest and dearest friends... and I love her dearly. But I can support her from afar as much as I can support her close by. My only hope is that they live a long and happy life together... And that their happy times outweigh the not-so-happy times. And A pony. And that they have a daughter and they name her after me. Is that too much to ask?!?!

Oh... well, maybe I'll take back the whole, "naming after me" thing... but the first three are non-negotiable
