I remembered... I am a Shoe Jedi!
So this woman was walking in front of me on the street today. She was kinda annoying, 'cause she was walking really slowly, and I was late for work. I couldn't pass her, 'cause she was walking in a curvey line, making it really hard for me to make a move.

And just as I was cursing her (and her bad hair) in my head, HER BOOT BROKE! No kidding. The heel of her (quite ugly) left-boot broke right off. She stumbled a few steps, then turned around with a look of horror on her face. OOPS!

I guess the moral of this story is stay out of my way, beyotch!

Ha ha ha ha... ok, maybe not, but it made me laugh anyway.

--------------------

A random aside about shoes: As Matt and I got off of the subway on Wednesday, we headed towards Thai House (mmmm...) and I stopped walking because I was about to sneeze. Not only did the sneeze feel like it echoed throughout the entire subway station, but it was also so forceful that it knocked me right out of my shoes!! I mean, I was wearing Dansko clogs, which are lose by nature anway... but still... it made us both laugh. ;)

It's these little things, the things you can't plan, that are gonna make these two months great. I cannot wait!
