Thoughts on the ND Weekend from an Eagle perspective
Brian sent me this description from a message board that he reads:
Back from South Bend ... observations ...
Everyone's seen the game so I won't talk about it all that much, I'm sure every play has been beaten to death.

But ND has a beautiful campus, I was very impressed. Their band was fantastic - they played "For Boston" both before and after the game, which I thought was very classy.

Notre Dame's fans though seemed totally out of touch - whenever we would start a "Let's Go Eagles" chant or something along those lines, they would all turn around and stare at us like we had 8 heads, and then look toward the ushers as if to say "Do something!" Looked as though they had never before seen fans of an opposing team in their stadium.

After the game, an ND fan I had met told me that he goes to a lot of games, and he thought that the BC student section was the loudest he'd ever heard - he even thought it put the ND student section to shame. Impressive if you ask me.

Brian was right when he said that it sounds like one of us wrote it. I miss it.
