Back on the train...
The Kung Fu place where I once studied closed a few months ago. No big whoop... the people there were weird... so I "retired." Ok... fine... I admit it. I quit. I didn't like it, and it was expensive. And they always put me against the other girl in the class, and she was really interested in playing dumb and getting attention from the other (way-grody-old) men in the class. It wasn't fun for me. So I wasn't sad when it closed. In fact, and I hate to admit this, I might have been a little secretly pleased. The place was just creepy.

And then someone else rented the space... the Park Slope Fitness Collective. Today, I took my first yoga class!! It was 90 minutes, and I really feel great! I decided that I'm going to buy a 20 class card for use over 6 months. You attend any of their classes, and it is LITERALLY across the street from me. For those of you who have come to visit, it's next to the little grocery store diagonal from my apartment. Provided I can get home from work in time, this might be JUST the thing that I need to start whipping my butt into shape. 'Cause Lord it needs it!

WOO!
